So what is the Sub regional Strategic Partnership?
The aim of the SSP is to deliver the region's economic strategy through partnership working. For the GNP this means working with emda and other SSPs to deliver the East Midlands's Regional Economic Strategy in Greater Nottingham, taking into account environmental and social agendas to ensure sustainability. The strategy will be delivered across the SSP area, which covers the City of Nottingham, the borough Councils of Broxtowe, Gedling and Rushcliffe and the Hucknall area of Ashfield (wards Hucknall East, West, North and South).
