Arts Council England, East Midlands
Arts Council England is the national development agency for the arts. We provide grants for the arts, including funding from the National Lottery.

We believe in the transforming power of the arts – power to change the lives of people throughout the country.

Grants for the arts for individuals, organisations and national touring. Our grants are for individuals, arts organisations and other people who use the arts as part of their work.

We invest in the arts across England by making grants available under the five aims:

* To change people’s lives through the opportunity to take part in or experience high-quality arts activities
* To increase opportunities for cultural diversity in the arts
* To support excellence, new ideas and activity to build long-term stability in arts organisations
* To invest in the creative talent of artists and individuals.
* To increase resources for the arts.

Our grants normally range from £200 up to a total of £100,000 but most are under £30,000.

English Nature
A region of contrasts – from the Moorlands and Dales of Derbyshire’s National Park through the highly developed three cities triangle of Nottingham, Derby and Leicester and intensively managed lowlands of the Trent Valley and Lincolnshire to its relatively unspoilt dune coastline and the vast saltmarshes of the Wash. – the East Midlands of England supports a diverse mix of wildlife.

For local biodiversity information, wildlife activities in your local area, responses to planning applications and local natural areas, please contact the relevant Area Team whose details can be found below. For more information on English Nature's work at a regional level, please click here.
