Welcome to the East Midlands Market Towns website, the source for people working to regenerate market towns in the East Midlands.
The region has an active network of over 50 market town partnerships that are fighting for survival in uncertain times. At a regional level support is available in the form of the EMDA funded programme, East Midlands Market Towns Asset School or EMMTAS, for more information click on the links to the left.
A key sub-regional initiative currently underway is the Market Towns Regeneration Alliance Programme. You can read more about this programme and access member only information by clicking on the Knowledge Network link to the left of this page.
Other recently completed work includes the Welland KPI benchmarking project, which won the regional market towns award and the Leicestershire Market Towns Customer Satisfaction surveys, which have been recently published.
We are very pleased to see the continuation of the EMTowns website and would like to thank our partners who have helped to support this resource for market towns in the East Midlands; The Development Trust Association and Nottinghamshire Rural Community Council.
If you have any feedback, comments or announcements please add them to our discussion forum or contact us.
